    Kering and the Festival de Cannes are proud to present the 2024 Women In Motion Emerging Talent Award to Malaysian filmmaker, Amanda Nell Eu, selected by Swiss director and 2023 Emerging Talent awardee Carmen Jaquier. Since 2019, the preceding Award winner views a selection of first feature films and chooses a promising female director to follow in her footsteps and receive this prize, which includes a grant of €50,000 to support the creation of her next film project.  The presentation will take place during the official Women In Motion dinner in Cannes, where Dame Donna Langley DBE Chairman of the NBCUniversal Studio Group and Chief Content Officer, will receive the Women In Motion Award. Both awards will be presented by François-Henri Pinault, Chairman and CEO of Kering, Iris Knobloch, President of the Festival de Cannes, and Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate of the Festival de Cannes. “I am incredibly honored to receive this award, and I want to give an extra thank you to the super bold director Carmen Jaquier. Thank you also to Women In Motion; I am already so grateful that I get to have my voice and use it and express it in a way that is free to me, so to receive this recognition is really special. Thank you to the big Tiger family – everyone involved in putting together Tiger Stripes – I think this film is a representation of the freedom that I am talking about and our potential to be beautiful bad-ass creatures in this world, if we can love, accept and listen to each other more.” - Amanda Nell Eu.     Kering is proud to support the exhibition “From Our Windows,” a dialogue between Rinko Kawauchi and Tokuko Ushioda, presented at KYOTOGRAPHIE international photography festival from 13th April to 12th May 2024. For this exhibition, Kawauchi presents two series; Cui Cui and as it is , and Ushioda shows My Husband and ICE BOX. Focusing on family, home, daily life, death and birth—the gaze of these two photographers, who carefully capture presences and activities that are familiar yet ever-changing, find their own light in small moments that lie hidden within our daily lives, transcending the ages. Discover the dialogue of these two great talents coming together.     Kering unveils BALENCIAGA’s Venice Biennale Installation.    Starting through last week the 68th Venice Biennale, the interior of Balenciaga’s Venice store is temporarily updated with an installation reflecting the Summer 24 runway show in Paris. This pop-up event celebrates the arrival of the Summer 24 collection and new Rodeo Bag styles. The Rodeo’s one-of-a-kind construction in exquisitely tanned and finished leather offers versatile wear, with a laissez-faire attitude defined by its discreet details. Subtle markings and optional charms further the narrative of a beloved heirloom by suggesting the passage of time and personalization. The Balenciaga Summer 24 Venice installation will be exhibited one month, a photobooth is available to customers, along with a selection of 14 Rodeo Bag styles. Employees across all our entities and locations were invited to join a series of online and in-person events with exclusive content and speakers to hone their appetite for learning and inspire them to embed learning in their day-to-day routine.     In celebration of Earth Week, Kering welcomed its employees to a series of workshops designed to deepen understanding of sustainability and inspire to take action. In line with our commitment to biodiversity, the Group also hosted its first Biodiversity Collage workshop. The collaborative experience aims to highlight the systemic aspects of biodiversity: what is is, what it enables and why it’s at risk. This year also marked the first workshops organized in collaboration with Ginori 1735 and merging creativity and circularity through the ancient art of Kintsugi.     Women in Luxury, our internal program connecting and empowering women at Kering, provides meaningful support for women and superb networking opportunities as well as opening up debate around key topics such as career progression for women; psychological safety and well-being at work; and the cultivation of a workplace culture grounded in respect.   With three Women in Luxury events in as many weeks in Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo, our commitment to women’s empowerment, gender equality and the development of talented women at every level of the organization, has been centre stage.
